    First of all, kasi it's hello kitty day! haha! thanks to my mom for my cutie shirt, my tatay eric for my pink watch, miguel for my cellphone pouch, my mom again for my irregularly-shaped purse, my pinsan for my shining wallet, milanie for my cellphone charm and earings, and to mama mila lee for my bracelet.  haha!  salamat for giving me my luho.. haha!

    Second, i did pretty well in my Chinese orals.  Though my partner made a few changes to the script that i did, i still managed to go through the dialogue smoothly.  kinakabahan pero okay lang.  :)

    last week was the week of hearts -- quality time for couples but more importantly an "awareness" time when you're single.  kahit saan bumabaha ng pag-ibig.  sabi nga ni sir roy, mistulang hardin ang buong kapaligiran.

    there's nothing wrong with being single. it's actually fun.  you can do whatever you want.  you don't have to consider someone else's opinion when you make a decision.  wala kang kailangan pagpaalaman, wala kang bibilhan ng gift, wala kang kaaway, walang magbabawal, walang pasaway.  in other words, walang problema.  but i would be nothing but a hypocrite if i say i don't become envious when i see couples happy together (just like two good friends of mine).   sabi nga sa theo, "everbody longs to be babied."  everybody longs for someone to call somehow his/her own.

    it's happy being single. i just don't know if it would be happier being with someone.. haha.. drama..

    there.. just a thought.. a ...

    this is a line from the movie Serendipity.  how would you know what signs to ask for in the first place?  wala lang.. out of curiosity.. hehe.

    while writing the lyrics of the song Way Back Into Love (from Music and Lyrics) last night, incidentally, i noticed some sort of parallelism (or whatever you call it ) between the quote above and one of the verses of the song.  I like the whole song but this is what i love the most...

    There's got to be something for my soul somewhere

    yeah, it's just out there.. somewhere.. and i'll find it.. one day, someday...

    a very productive day for everyone..

    it's vacation time and i love it.. or i don't? hmmm...

    i love summer breaks.. it's one of my most anticipated parts of the year.. time to rest, time to relax, time when i don't have to think of requirements anymore, time away from school!! and most importantly, time with my family...

    but i hate summer breaks the same reasons why i love it.. i hate doing nothing and thinking about nothing.. with nothing i mean things that are not so important.. i also hate waiting for the final marks to come out.. it's so scary anticipating what the fruits of one sem labor would be -- that is, if it bore fruit..

    but most of all, i hate missing people.. people i see everday, people i talk to everday.. people i have fun with everyday.. people that matter to me..

    imagine being together 5-6 days a week for five months and then all of a sudden nothing?! it sucks. especially those people who intentionally let you miss them ...

    i got this message the other day from a friend (hi M! haha!).  after reading it, my first statement was "ang bitter naman.."  i think you know what i mean..   but after reading it for the second time to friend, i realized that it's somehow true.. tragic, but true..   that's why just like what another text message i got from M a long time ago says, if you still have time, say what you mean and mean what you say.  opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regrets last a lifetime..   haha, text addict..   ~the end~

    the surprise party was one of the happiest dirthdays i had.. my family and most of my friends were there.. plus!! my ever loving friends prepared it for me.. thanks! =) fun naman ung swimming diba? i almost died twice. birthday gift.

    I am proud to be Vergel's sister...

    He graduated last february from the De La Salle University with two degrees -- Economics and Accounting.  He also had an opportune time to work in one of the country's leading accounting firm, the SGV for his OJT.  While he was studying, he also took up review classes for the board at CPAR.  He ranked 34 in his pre-board.  He landed 17 in La Salle's over-all list.

    The 4-day acutal board ended last Monday.  And yesterday, the results came out.  Praise God, my brother is now a Certified Public Accountant.  All of his and my parents' sacrifices paid off.  God is soooooo good!

    i really admire my kuya.. at a very young age of 20, he has already achieved a lot.. not everyone gets to experience life the way he does.. and i'm really proud of him.. I hope and pray that God would continue to bless him even more.. and may His will be done in his life..

    have i said i'm proud of my kuya?

    have you ever tried walking around the ateneo at night? as in yung walang tao, madilim, umuulan..

    one night, nagawa ko yun.. grabe. had it been any ordinary night, baka nagtatakbo na ko sa sobrang takot.  no lights whatsoever.. di kita yung dadaanan, silhouttes lang.. di mo rin alam baka may nilalang na ng Diyos na pwede mo maapakan dun.. buti na lang wala.  i also realized, pwede ka pala ma-murder dun without anybody noticing it.. tipong makikita ka nila kinabukasan na, walang buhay.. or pwede ka rin ma-hold up dun.. kahit sumigaw ka walang makakarinig.. or kung marinig ka man ni manong guard, he wouldn't think na galing yun sa isang taong nangangailangan ng tulong..

    and for some weird reason (God forgive me), i wished that something not so good happened to me that night.. i bet no one would even notice.. no one would even care.. especially not you..

    haha. pero i was actually surprised i endured the darkness of the area. i didn't even run. i felt nothing.
